Grain stocks in Ukraine increase sharply compared to last year
In Ukraine, Odessa Journal reported that as of April 1, Ukraine’s stocks of cereals and legumes amounted to 15.68 million tons, which is 5.3 million tonns more than on April 1, 2025.
This was reported by the Electronic Grain Exchange, citing the State Statistics Service.
“Compared to last year, grain stocks held by agricultural enterprises increased by 47.2% to 10.04 million tons, while stocks at processing and storage enterprises rose by 59.8% to 5.64 million tons,” the statement said.
Corn stock was up 46.6% to 8.8 million tons, according to the report.
