EU increased grain exports by 16%
In Ukraine, UkrAgroConsult reported that over the first forty-three weeks of the current season, which began on July 1, 2025, the European Union exported 32.7 million tons of grain and processed grain products, which is 16% more compared to the same period of the 2024/2025 season.
During the reporting period, Romania exported 6.3 million tons of soft wheat, 2 million tonnes of barley, and 0.8 million tons of corn. France exported 4.9 million tons of soft wheat, 2.8 million tons of barley, and 0.3 million tons of corn.
Corn exports amounted to 1.49 million tons during the period, down 23% year-on-year.
