Anec lowers its forecast for Brazilian soybean exports in April.
In Brazil, Noticias Agricolas reported that Brazil’s soybean exports in April were estimated at 15.87 million tons, versus 16.4 million tons in the previous forecast, according to figures from the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec).
Despite the reduced forecast, based on shipments and ship schedules, the total would still be slightly above the record set in March of this year, when the country exported 15.84 million tons.
Compared to the same period last year, April shipments are expected to increase by approximately 2.4 million tons, according to Anec.
